Partnering with Clean Currents of Rockville, Maryland the hotel is leading the way to minimizing its impact on our fragile environment.
Further, The Legacy Hotel & Meeting Centre has entered into a Green Power Partnership with the EPA that encourages the voluntary use of green power to reduce the risk of climate change.
Hotel guests will find recycling trash receptacles in their guestrooms as part of the hotel’s 100% recycling policy, and all cleaning products have been switched to “Green” friendly.
Hotel guests will soon be able to further offset the carbon footprint of their stay supporting the hotel’s new Turn On™ program by purchasing an eco-friendly t-shirt logoed with the hotel’s campaign slogan “I Got Turned On At The Legacy!” Through this innovative new program, guestroom energy will be turned off during the guest’s absence and turned back on 30 minutes prior to their return.
