HISTORY

Throughout the Legacy Hotel & Meeting Centre you will find images that showcase & celebrate the rich and vibrant history of Rockville, Maryland. The land our hotel occupies was once part of the Congressional Airport – an airfield that operated for 30 years until the late 1950’s. The airport was touted as one of the most modern & technically equipped airports in the United States complete with a flying school, sight-seeing flights & inter-city passenger service.
